- UEC members; new heat pump must be installed by an installer listed on UEC's participating installers list; ductless heat pump must be installed in a home primarily heated with electricity with Single Heads rated at least 7.5 HSPF2 and Multi-Heads rated at least 7.5 HSPF2; air source variable speed heat pump must be installed in a home primarily heated with one of: Heat Pump, Ductless Heat Pump, Electric Forced Air Furnace, Zonal Electric System, or Other Heat Sources (Gas, Oil, Propane, Wood), rated at least 7.5 HSPF2 and 14.3 SEER2.
