- Customer must also purchase a natural gas furnace, boiler or water heater at the time of application submission; cold climate heat pump with SEER2 ≥ 15.2, EER2 ≥ 10, HSPF2 ≥ 8.1, COP ≥ 1.75 at 5°F rating; rebate applications must be postmarked within 120 days of equipment purchase date; NJNG rebates and incentives do not apply to new construction.

The maximum rebate of $1,000 is available for the purchase of a cold climate heat pump with a SEER2 ≥ 15.2, EER2 ≥ 10, HSPF2 ≥ 8.1 COP ≥ 1.75 at 5° F rating. Customer must also purchase a natural gas furnace, boiler or water heater at the time of application submission to be eligible for the rebate
