- Eligibility
- Landlords of residential rental homes whose renters have active FPL residential accounts and are income-eligible through recognized assistance agencies. Electric air-cooled straight-cool or heat pump systems (no window units or single-zone mini-splits), SEER2 at least one point above the federal minimum, installed by an FPL Participating Independent Contractor. Limited to 500 installations per year over three years; whether the 2026 cap has been reached was not confirmed.
